Admission procedure
If you decide to pursue a Ph.D. program at our University, you should first write to the Director of the Institute of Doctoral Studies who will help you to get in touch with the relevant department. Thus, you will be able to discuss your plans with the professor who is most likely to become your research supervisor. Having decided on the prospective topic of your research, you will be required to follow the formal admission procedure.
Documents
The following documents should be submitted when applying for enrollment in the Ph.D. program:
- Your application indicating the proposed field of studies (according to the list of fields of Ph.D .studies)
- Two or three letters of recommendation (references)
- A short description of your scientific interests and a proposed plan of your Ph.D. research work
- A list of publications (if any).
- Your Curriculum Vitae
- A notarized photocopy of your diploma/certificate of higher education (MSc/MA Degree or equivalent is required ) with an academic transcript
- Two recent photographs (3x4 cm or 4x6 cm).
You should send these documents to the Department of Doctoral Programs of our University by e-mail or by fax.

You should submit on your arrival in the University:
- Your passport and an official translation of it into Russian.
- A photocopy of your registration form
- A photocopy of your medical certificate with the results of an HIV test (performed not earlier than 3 months prior to the submission of your documents to the University)
