Dear colleagues! We've been working hard to improve our existing website and provide you with the new professional communication platform during the past few week. Check out this article to learn more about it.
The first and the most important update is of course the introduction of our new forum in the effort to create a new vibrant neuroscience-related open discussion club. We have been extensively using a mailing list system for the past few years, which proved itself to be a very efficient tool to coordinate our efforts. Nevertheless, it turned out that it had some limitations (due both to the imperfect software and the individual habits of our users) which made it difficult to follow productive discussions this way.
Therefore, we decided to create a completely new platform to leverage the technological barrier and make the scientific interaction more productive, by complimenting the older mailing lists. Built on top of the Open Source Phorum software, our brand new forum is packed with features for easy communication. We hope to see you soon on board!
Other that that, we've upgraded the content management system at the core of our website and made a few subtle changes to the design. We hope that it will make our site even easier to use and provide fast access to the needed information.
