Regional Centre for International Research and Technological Co-operation (RC) advises and assists companies, universities, research organisations and administrative bodies who wish to participate in the national and international research programmes.

Our main services are:

• Dissemination of information about research programmes;
• Russia/EU partner search;
• Advice on proposals, partners, contracts and project management;
• Workshops for proposers, administrators and managers.

RC was established in 1997 by Nizhny Novgorod Region Administration and University of Nizhny Novgorod to support international co-operation, primarily, in the field of information and communication technologies within Nizhny Novgorod Region.

In 2002 the Centre was appoined as the Coordination Centre for Research and Technological Co-operation with European Union in Privolzhsky Federal District in the field of information and communication technologies by Administration of Plenipotentiary of President of Russian Federation in PFD. Among the Centre's initiatives establising on-line resource "PFD IST Commuinity" linking together researchers from Privolzhsky Federal District of Russia willing to co-operate with European colleagues under European Commission's "Information Society Technologies" (IST) programme.

At present RC involved in a Framework 5 IST netproject №IST-2001-35449 ADMIRE-P: A Dense Multilevel Network for ICT Research Co-operation between the European Union and Privolzhsky Federal District. Project's web-site: http://www.admire-p.ru.
